Benalmádena town hall and real estate group Tremón have finalized an agreement to revive the iconic Tivoli amusement park with a €100 million investment. The ambitious project will restore the park’s classic rides and attractions while adding a modern leisure and retail complex—an initiative that has long been a part of Tremón’s vision.
Negotiations led by Mayor Juan Antonio Lara have followed months of public demand for the park’s revival. Once the necessary municipal approvals are secured, including an urban development agreement and updates to the town’s master plan, construction is expected to begin within one to two years.
The redevelopment will not only breathe new life into a beloved local landmark but also generate dozens of jobs and boost tourism in Benalmádena. By blending nostalgic elements with contemporary amenities, the revitalized Tivoli aims to create a dynamic destination that honors its storied past while paving the way for a modern era of entertainment on the Costa del Sol.
